WebApr 4, 2003 · I installed a network sniffer on the perimeter of the network and I can see a lot of Dynamic update SOA 10.in-addr.arpa DNS requests to an external DNS server coming from out PDC emulator and the a response saying Dynamic update refused. Remove DHCP from DC1. Reboot. Add DHCP back. Setup DHCP failover. Everything went ok, no errors in dcdiag /dns, but still those errors persist. WebSince you do not have your hostname set to fqdn, the sssd process is not able to find the name via the resolv_ processes. I just set the hostname to fqdn. Not sure if that is an issue for you.
