WebbThe cap only comes into play when you dial down the tone pot. If a guitar's bridge PU is too bright for me, I use a warmer magent or one or two 250K's. To me, a bridge P-90 with 500K's is very bright and thin. I like to beef them up with an A8/A4 pair. More mids, less treble, and lots more punch.
