Web21 Jul 2024 · Long story short, The Takstar was very respectable. It sounded even with a bit of presence, but I wouldn't call it harsh. The low end was lighter than the others, but not so bad that I wouldn't try it on certain vocalists. I paid about $120 (used) with shipping and I think that was a steal. I also found a comment that the 2050 have the same drivers and nearly the same construction as Takstar Pro 80, it’s near but not near enough.
